David Stewart

David started playing his golf here at Horton Park at the age of 13 with a starting handicap of 31. He got his handicap down to 5 but knew it was time to go to the next step if he wanted to keep continuing to progress. 10 years later David got his handicap down to 4 which allowed him to turn professional. David has just finished the 3 year PGA degree which covered all aspects of golf.

David’s main passion since turning professional has been teaching as he loves to see people improve and gain more of an understanding of how their golf swing works.

David has won every board tournament here at Horton Park so you may see his name around on the boards, and also holds the scoring record for the club championship in his last year playing it. “I have so many good memories playing here and now hope to make more through teaching.”
