It is World War II and the invasion is imminent your time is short and failure is not an option. You are inside a French café that doubles as a resistance safe house. Disguised within the café walls are crucial pieces of enemy intelligence. Work together to search the room and piece the information together to reveal the full invasion plan. Once uncovered, you must escape the safe house before the enemy finds your team. The lives and safety of countless people depend on you every second truly matters.

Please note: This is a seated game and much less physical than the other escape rooms.

The Challenge Chambers were devised by the late Earl of Clayborne. A series of trials, each carefully designed to test intelligence in the search for a worthy suitor for his beloved daughter, Lilly. Many stepped forward, drawn by the wealth but every one of them failed to overcome the chambers. Now abandoned, the Earl’s priceless fortune and diamond ring remain within, waiting for those brave enough to uncover the secrets of the Chambers. Things to know....
Lots of people are new to Escape Rooms so we’ve compiled as many helpful answers here as possible.
Escape rooms are themed rooms in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategy in order to exit the room.
The Escape Rooms are located at Horton Park Golf Club situated in the clubhouse. Our address is: Horton Golf Park, Hook Road, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 8QG.
Our sister location – Escape From the Room – is located in Epsom town centre. Please be mindful when booking that you’re aware of which location you have booked at.
You have 60 minutes to escape the room but the aim of the game is to escape before your time runs out!
Apart from the incredible bespoke detail of each room, your experience will also include immersive theatre with your room host also acting a part of your room experience!

We welcome players of various ages, but for safety and suitability, the following rules apply:
- Ages 16–17: May participate without an adult on site, provided emergency contact details are emailed to us in advance.
- Ages 12–15: Must be accompanied by an adult who remains on-site throughout the experience. We will provide a 20-minute grace period and if necessary, the adult will be asked to enter the room to help guide the group.
- Under 12 years old: Must be accompanied inside the escape room by an adult. We recommend one adult per four children. If they are playing Challenge Chambers split across both rooms there must be an adult per room.
Please follow these guidelines to avoid being turned away.
No – you can choose to check out as a guest and pay using your credit or debit card. After filling out the booking information, press the yellow PayPal button to open and pop-up window and here you can pay by either logging into a PayPal account if you have one, or you can check out as a guest using your credit or debit card.
Unfortunately the rooms are not suitable for wheelchairs.
That’s fine – just give us a call on 0208 393 8400 and we can amend your booking and accept payment over the telephone. We do need at least 24 hours notice for any booking amendments.
If your cancellation request is:
- Up to 7 days prior to the booking event date – full refund
- Between 2-7 days prior to the booking event date – No refund, but your booking can be moved to another date and time within the next month (one time only).
- Less than 48 hours prior to booking event date – No Refund. No Moving.
You can book a maximum of 2 weeks in advance and a minimum of 2 hours.
There is plenty of free parking onsite, including disabled parking.
Just wear something light and comfortable, including flat shoes. If you want to dress up, you can do so and we even have costumes you can borrow if you want!
We have a large clubhouse bar and restaurant. It is open from 7am daily and our kitchen serves lunches and dinners until 9pm daily. There’s no need to book a table – just head to the bar after you have done your escape room for food and drink.
