I started playing golf at 13 and grew up playing at Fulwell. After winning a few scratch opens, I decided to turn professional at age 21 and did my PGA training which I finished and became fully qualified in 2018. I moved to Stoke Park Golf & Country Club in 2019 where I developed a real passion for coaching. Stoke Park was the European Headquarters for David Leadbetter, so I became a Leadbetter Qualified Coach and had the chance to work closely with David and some other top coaches in the country.
In October 2021 I moved to Dubai as a full-time golf coach where I spent 7 months working out there with some of the best coaches in the world and coached golfers from beginners to elite amateur level.
I enjoy coaching golfers of all ages and abilities and really enjoy the technical aspect of analysing swings and looking for the one key thing that is going to help a player improve the most. I also have some biomechanics knowledge that allows me to build a swing to the way an individual is built rather than a one-style fits-all model. This helps maximise club head speed for the individual so they can get the most out of their game.
I have also worked with short game coach to Justin Rose and Francesco Molinari, James Ridyard and completed his wedge matrix short game course so I have a wealth of knowledge in and around the greens to sharpen up your short game skills.
